  • Plan for changes to schedules and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure effective execution of transportation operations.
  • Manage finances and budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Arrange for shipping documentation and track goods in transit.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and negotiate for services and preferential rates.
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation management or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
Work Environment:
  • Permanent position.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
