Key Responsibilities

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support strategic data and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data concepts, including metadata, data mapping, data quality, data modeling, and data governance.

This role will involve working closely with the Senior Manager to analyze business process controls, source and provision lineage, identify data quality issues, and propose remediation steps.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with data management tools, such as Collibra and IGC, and a working knowledge of data models, data relationships, mapping lineage, and business rules.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with a strong understanding of data concepts.
  • Hands-on experience working within Data Management and Operations, including proficiency in Data Management Tools.
  • Strong business acumen, data analysis, metadata documentation, and data quality controls skills.
  • Hands-on experience with developing dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Strong experience of business analysis processes, frameworks with documenting processes and data flows.
  • Understanding of Bank's systems, including ALM6, IGC, and GC.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide evidence to 2nd and 3rd line.
  • Understanding or experience with Treasury.
  • Cloud platforms and related data services knowledge.
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) skills and ability to distill information for executives.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks within varying timelines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
  • Strong decision making, forward thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
Best Candidate
  • An ideal candidate will have expertise in both data governance and data analytics.
  • Extensive experience with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work independently.
