Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Bilingual Manager, Legal Support Services. This is a key role that will play a critical part in the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of legal support professionals.
- Develop and implement plans to improve team performance and efficiency.
- Manage and develop the skills and abilities of team members.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the legal support team.
- Ensure that all tasks and projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of firm assets.
- Client Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional client service and support.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Process Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement new procedures and policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of processes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve firm goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. business, law, human resources).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the legal industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
