We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Thai Senses Restaurant. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and will possess excellent culinary skills, with a focus on Thai cuisine. They will be able to manage a team of cooks and support staff, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas regularly, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen operations effectively, meeting productivity targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on Thai cuisine.
- Able to lead and motivate a team of cooks and support staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in fast-paced environments.
