About the Role

Rams Hospitality Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that staff are aware of quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Leadership: Establish work schedules, supervise a team of 5-10 people, and ensure that the team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and will be required to work physically demanding hours. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have a client-focused approach.
