About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at 2635875 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our food service department.

Supervise and Train Staff

Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties efficiently.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and manage inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our operational needs.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and that our facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Prepare Budgets and Reports

Prepare and submit budgets and reports to management, providing insights into our operational performance and areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and customers.

Personal Qualities

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and a commitment to providing a welcoming work environment for all employees and customers.
