Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Moksha Indian Bistro is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Supervisory Experience: 3-4 people
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player
Work Conditions:

35 hours per week, permanent position, English language required.
