Job Summary:

The General Manager will be responsible for executing all restaurant administrative duties, providing leadership to ensure day-to-day operations are sustained at an acceptable level. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Operations: Create value for shareholders through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management.
  • Restaurant Management: Effectively manage a corporate-owned restaurant, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction, and meeting company policies and guidelines.
  • Team Management: Recruit, interview, and hire team members, conduct performance appraisals, take discipline action, motivate, and train.
  • Financial Management: Control profit and loss, follow cash control/security procedures, maintain inventory, manage labor, review financial reports, and take appropriate actions.
  • Marketing and Sales: Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs.
  • Customer Service: Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Employee Safety and Security: Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Team Building: Exceptional team building capability.
  • Business Acumen: Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Education: College or university degree preferred, but will consider experience.
  • Experience: Supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including profit and loss responsibility.
