Job Title: Strategic Academic Leader

 

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to fill the position of Strategic Academic Leader, leading our academic team in the Government of Canada - Atlantic region.

 

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

 

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to drive academic excellence and strategic growth in our organization. As a Strategic Academic Leader, you will be responsible for directing and controlling academic activities, planning and organizing academic programs, consulting with regulatory agencies, advising senior leaders, and promoting committee-organized activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control academic activities, ensuring alignment with provincial standards and regulations.
  • Plan and organize academic programs, including curriculum development and implementation.
  • Consult with government regulatory and licensing agencies to ensure compliance and conformance to provincial standards.
  • Advise the president or rector of the university or college on academic matters.
  • Promote activities organized by committees, fostering collaboration and teamwork among stakeholders.
