Human Resources Director with Strategic Focus

We are seeking a Human Resources Director to lead our team at NBM Railways in Saint John, NB. This senior role is responsible for driving strategic alignment of HR operations, talent management, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders to achieve exceptional performance through progressive HR strategies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Divisional Director of Human Resources, General Manager of NBM Railways, and other key leaders to identify, develop, and execute human resources strategies, programs, and processes.
- Talent Development: Coach and develop HR professionals who serve as the primary point of contact with employees, leaders, shared services, and external contacts on all human resources matters.
- Critical Programs: Oversee the rollout of critical HR programs such as attraction & retention, workforce planning, performance management, leadership development, compensation, employee engagement, etc.
- Business Partnership: Anticipate business needs and provide Human Resources leadership, solutions, and coaching.

Requirements:- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a progressive human resources management role.
- A proven track record in leading highly engaged teams with some experience working with non-salaried employees.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to plan, manage, execute, and lead at both the strategic and operational levels.
$90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
