The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced CFO to lead several teams in financial services, financial reporting, budgeting, investments, pensions, strategic procurement, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive budgeting and financial planning strategies.
  • Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement in financial services.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Executive and Board of Regents on financial matters.
  • Develop and implement financial risk management and fraud prevention initiatives.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative units to optimize financial performance and resource utilization.
  • Develop investment strategies to maximize returns.

Candidate Profile

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required, with a preference for candidates holding a graduate-level degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $172,026 - $226,350 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including a defined benefit pension plan and group insurance programs.
