Job Summary

The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development, execution, and implementation of progressive and sustainable practices that promote health professional clinical excellence and academic practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies that support health professional practice, clinical informatics, and the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Act as an advisor to Professional Practice Leaders, ensuring ongoing excellence in evidence-based care, research, program evaluation, and teaching.
  • Manage relationships across the organization, build partnerships, and serve as a resource and change leader in operationalizing strategies.
  • Foster an innovative, accountable, evidence-informed, and outcome-focused culture.

Requirements

  • Master's-prepared leader with a minimum of seven (7) years of clinical experience in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to cogently communicate, motivate, and present to staff in all departments and levels.
  • Robust understanding of hospital operations and experience in closely monitoring global trends within the industry with an eye on continuous improvement in patient care.
