Job Summary
The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished professional to join our faculty as a Professor of Law Practice Management. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the art of running a successful law practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver curriculum on law practice management, including financial statements, cash flow, time management, and marketing.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and professional development.
- Contribute to the development of the law program and its curriculum.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities related to law practice management.
Requirements
- LL.B., J.D., or equivalent degree.
- Membership in the Law Society of Ontario, or equivalent, in good standing.
- Significant expertise and experience in managing a law practice or firm.
- Prior teaching experience is an asset.
