Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Paradox Hotel Vancouver. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating various HR activities, ensuring seamless communication within the team, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate HR activities, including recruitment, training, and employee onboarding
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to maintain a positive work environment
  • Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace
  • Plan and organize daily operations, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support HR decision-making
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security
  • Recruit and hire workers, conducting related staffing actions and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Maintain and manage digital databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
  • Conduct performance reviews, evaluating employee performance and providing constructive feedback

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and other HR software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
