We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Associate to join our team. As an HR Associate, you will play a critical role in processing staffing, scheduling, and other human resources tasks.

Estimated Salary: $62,297.20 (based on 2 years' experience and location in BC)

Job Description:

As an HR Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Gathering timesheets and accurately entering information into the scheduling and timekeeping system
  • Maintaining current and accurate employee records
  • Point of contact between employees and Payroll regarding various employee benefits
  • Vacation planning for staff
  • Working with the rest of the HR team to process HR transactions and assist on various HR projects
  • Maintaining and organizing filing systems
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience related to human resources, scheduling, and timekeeping
  • Solid understanding of various articles of Collective Agreements related to staffing and scheduling
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws in BC
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Familiarity with ESP Payroll Software is an asset
  • Experienced working in a multiple unionized healthcare organization in BC will be an asset
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or CPHR certification, will be an asset
