Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Teck. As an HRIS Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering employee information into our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter employee data in HRIS systems, including new hires, deductions, salary and position changes, leave processing, contributions, and terminations.
  • Digitally file employee documents on SharePoint using correct naming conventions.
  • Assist with system testing and HR audits as required.
  • Contribute to the application of Human Resources policies and procedures, salary and benefits administration, organizational communications, performance management, and other project work as assigned.
  • Draft letters and communications.
  • Research and report writing as needed.
  • Assist with HR projects.
  • Participate in team meetings and training.
  • Work closely with the team of HR Coordinators to engage in regular discussions and brainstorming sessions.
  • Contribute to team projects and support colleagues in their tasks.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related area of focus.
  • Deep attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive and customer service focused.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors would be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Adaptable and flexible, as well as open to learning and trying new things.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work under minimal direction and be able to coordinate several tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of integrity.
  • Spanish language proficiency would be considered an asset.
