About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Intern to join our team at Turner Construction Company. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in HR and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, assist with various HR initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Embody company values and principles, supporting the HR department as a key member of the team.
  • Utilize HR systems, processes, and procedures to complete tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Assist in administering HR key initiatives and projects.
  • Manage employee information changes and ensure data integrity in HR-related systems.
  • Perform Talent Acquisition activities, including coordinating interviews, communicating with applicants, and supporting college recruitment events.
  • Support onboarding processes, distributing relevant materials to new hires, and providing assistance during BU Availability and Needs meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Social Organizational Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated positive client service attitude, active listening skills, and clear communication abilities.
  • High degree of organization, proactive, and ability to escalate work for prioritization.
  • Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and database applications.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
