As a Senior Manager, Life Sciences and Innovation, you'll play a vital role in developing new listings for our exchanges in the life sciences sector, while also supporting the broader innovation sector and facilitating listings in technology and clean technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in the life sciences sector, ensuring strong alignment and working partnerships with collaborators that facilitate listings on our exchanges.
- Articulate the value proposition for TSX/TSXV relative to other domestic and global exchanges, supporting the broader TSX and TSX Venture Exchange and representing TMX at industry events.
- Identify, initiate, and qualify opportunities to maintain a balanced funnel with a continuous focus on moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Document sales activities in Salesforce and provide regular opportunity pipeline and forecast updates and reports as needed.
- Support the broader TSX and TSX Venture Exchange and represent TMX at industry events.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership materials for the Exchanges on the opportunities for life science companies to access capital.
- Post-secondary education, preferably a Bachelor of Commerce or MBA or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of consultative selling experience, including financial products and services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus and presentation experience.
- Experience with PowerPoint and Excel and presentations to C-Level executives.
- Collaborative teammate who can work efficiently with numerous partners.
- Knowledge and understanding of the capital markets.
- Familiar with Salesforce CRM or similar/equivalent sales tools.
- Travel is a requirement of the role.
