P & D Automotive Ltd. is seeking an Automotive Service Professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services to customers.
About the RoleAs an Automotive Service Professional, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, confirming findings with supervisors, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of automotive systems and components, and will be expected to adhere to manufacturer's specifications.
This is a permanent position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate and a valid driver's licence.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate
