Job Title: Highly Skilled Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced automotive technician to join our team at Art's Automotive. As an integral part of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues.

About the Role:
  • You will work on a variety of vehicles, including commercial transport trucks, utilizing your expertise to repair or replace parts and components as needed.
  • Collaborate with our supervisor to discuss work orders and ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
  • Review work orders to understand customer requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Road test motor vehicles to verify repairs and ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a strong understanding of transportation/travel information.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and manual dexterity while standing for extended periods.
  • Demonstrate excellent client focus, accuracy, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and teamwork skills.
Estimated Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
