Automotive Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Specialist to join our team at Minit-Tune & Brake Auto Center in Vancouver, BC.
Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and diagnostic tests. They will also work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure efficient job completion and customer satisfaction.
About the Role:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Collaborate with the Shop Manager to prioritize jobs and optimize shop efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and professional communication throughout the repair process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and manufacturer training to maintain expertise and stay current with new technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., automotive technology, mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive repair industry, with a focus on diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks, and maintaining high-quality work standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Red Seal Automotive Service Technician is an asset.
