About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our Hydro Automation and Electrical Power Systems team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for hydroelectric projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the proposal team in preparing comprehensive and competitive proposals for hydroelectric projects
  • Develop and implement a winning strategy for each proposal, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Commercial Managers, and the Legal team to ensure proposal completeness and quality
  • Negotiate and form partnerships with external companies to enhance proposal offerings
  • Establish and manage proposal schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful proposal outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing in hydro power generation or similar industry
  • Demonstrated success in winning orders and building relationships with customers
  • Familiarity with commercial and contractual specifications
  • Project Management skills, with ability to handle multiple complex tasks daily
  • Effective communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • Proven leadership ability within a team context
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, initiative, and creativity
  • Commercial contract knowledge and strong negotiation skills
  • Good technical presentation skills
