Hydroelectric Proposal Specialist

As a leading manufacturer of hydroelectric turbines, Andritz Hydro Canada is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team. With over years of experience in turbine design and a global presence, we offer a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that contribute to a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the proposal team in preparing technical and commercial proposals for hydro projects, including small, medium, and complex projects.
- Develop a winning strategy with management buy-in and ensure it is followed by the proposal team.
- Negotiate and form partnerships/consortiums with external companies.
- Ensure all essential elements of the proposal have owners and track progress based on the proposal schedule.
- Prepare internal bid approval application submittal to upper management.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in sales and/or marketing in hydro power generation or similar industry.
- Demonstrated success in winning orders and building relationships with customers in a similar environment.
- Familiarity with commercial and contractual specifications.
- Project Management skills - ability to handle multiple complex tasks daily.
