Position Summary

The University Library Technology Support Assistant provides technical assistance to faculty and staff, ensuring seamless access to technology resources. Key responsibilities include updating library websites, deploying new equipment, and maintaining computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update library websites and blogs with relevant content
  • Collaborate with the Library Technical Analyst to deploy new technology
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of faculty and staff computers
  • Track updates and equipment, maintaining accurate records

Requirements:
  • Coursework or experience in Computer Science or related fields
  • Familiarity with PC hardware components and software
  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and other widely used software
