The University Library is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technology Support Assistant to provide technical support to faculty and staff. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting the library's mission to provide excellent service to the university community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to faculty and staff, including hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Update content on the library's website and other digital platforms.
- Assist with the deployment of new equipment and software.
- Perform routine updates of faculty and staff computers.
- Track updates and equipment, and maintain records in a centralized source.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of faculty and staff computers and peripherals.
Requirements
- Course work or work experience in Computer Science or other technology-focused areas.
- Familiarity with PC hardware components and their functions.
- Demonstrated computer skills and working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and other broadly used computer software.
- Ability and willingness to learn new software and hardware configurations.
