Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Property Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent tenant service, conducting periodic inspections, and ensuring the proper upkeep of our properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional tenant service, responding to requests and problems in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with leases and property maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property and lease files.
  • Coordinate the production and ordering of signs and tenant identification.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly charges and transaction-related documents.
  • Obtain estimates and bids for general work at the property.
  • Monitor and analyze market conditions for rentals.
  • Deal with resident concerns and requests in a timely manner.
  • Prepare yearly budgets for CAM recoveries.
  • Ensure accurate costs in the general ledger prior to reconciliation.
  • Prepare revenue projections for commercial sites.
  • Collect and process rents in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Completion of a post-secondary education in a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of best practices related to leases and service contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of The Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Experience dealing with the Landlord and Tenant Board.
  • In-depth property management knowledge, including building operations, customer service, occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
