About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team at Wintrax Logistics Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building predictive models, analyzing complex data sets, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Predictive Models: Develop and implement advanced statistical models to forecast trends and patterns in large datasets.
  • Confer with Clients: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Data Science: Design and implement data collection and processing methods to answer specific research questions.
  • Develop Data Mapping Methods: Create data visualization tools to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extract Information: Utilize data mining techniques to extract valuable insights from unstructured data sets.
  • Highlight Key Data Sources: Identify and prioritize key data sources and methodologies for specific projects.
  • Provide Advice: Offer expert guidance on the selection of automated anomaly detection systems.
  • Synthesize Technical Information: Create data visualizations to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use Ensemble Modelling: Combine multiple algorithms to achieve better predictive performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL, MS Office, and MS Excel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, and adaptability.
