About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team at Wintrax Logistics Inc. as a Data Analytics Specialist. Key Responsibilities
  • Build Predictive Models: Develop and implement predictive models to forecast business outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design Data Collection and Processing Methods: Design and implement data collection and processing methods to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Develop Data Visualization Tools: Develop data visualization tools to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Confer with Clients: Collaborate with clients to identify business requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
  • Document Technical Requirements: Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Extract Information from Unstructured Data: Extract relevant information from unstructured data sources to inform business decisions.
  • Highlight Key Data Sources and Methodology: Identify key data sources and methodology to be used on specific projects.
  • Provide Advice on Automated Anomaly Detection Systems: Provide advice on the selection of automated anomaly detection systems to improve business outcomes.
  • Synthesize Technical Information: Synthesize technical information through the creation of data visualization tools.
  • Use Ensemble Modeling: Use ensemble modeling to combine multiple algorithms to obtain better predictive performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL, MS Office, and MS Excel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgment, organized, team player, adaptable, accountable, dedicated, analytical, and quick learner.
