Job Title: Data Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team at Wintrax Logistics Inc. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing predictive models to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop data-driven solutions to meet those needs. You will be responsible for:

  • Building predictive models to forecast business outcomes
  • Conferencing with clients to identify requirements and develop data-driven solutions
  • Designing methods of collecting and processing data to answer specific research questions
  • Developing data mapping methods to identify trends and patterns
  • Developing queries and logic to generate reports
  • Discovering trends and patterns within large amounts of information
  • Documenting technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements
  • Extracting information from unstructured sets of data
  • Highlighting key data sources and the methodology to be used on a specific project
  • Providing advice on the selection of automated anomaly detection systems
  • Synthesizing technical information through creation of data visualization
  • Using ensemble modeling to combine multiple algorithms to obtain better predictive performance

Requirements:

  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: SQL, MS Office, MS Excel
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, adaptability, accountability, dedication, analytical, quick learner
