Senior Experience Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Experience Design Lead to join our team at Dentsu International. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of innovative and user-centered experiences that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Design Leadership: Oversee the design work produced by multiple members of the UX team, mentoring skill sets and enhancing the overall design output of the team.
- Stakeholder Management: Interact with stakeholders (including client partners) to design and develop sitemaps, personas, consumer research, and wireframes to create seamless experiences from the minute a customer engages with a brand to well beyond that first interaction.
- Project Management: Liaise as a key client contact, leading projects across clients.
- Design Solutions: Quickly assimilating complex and ambiguous ideas and proposing elegant design solutions.
- Collaboration: Partner alongside the UI lead to establish new ways of working and improving workflow.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience creating innovative and visually stunning user experiences.
- Leadership: 2 years of experience leading a team, estimating projects, and working alongside project management to keep projects on track.
- Design Expertise: Strong understanding of UI practices, including UI kits, design systems, and pattern libraries.
- Accessibility: Passion for accessible design, with an understanding of the limitations based on the latest standards.
- User Research: Experience defining and facilitating user research activities.
- Portfolio: Outstanding portfolio demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative design solutions that highlight a diverse range of styles.
- Tools: Expert experience in Figma, with a strong understanding of component-based design.
- Prototyping: Experience working with dedicated prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, ProtoPie, Principle, Origami).
- Graphic Assets: Ability to create final graphic assets for flawless design implementation.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, able to work independently, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
- Communication: Natural diplomat with effective communication, coordination, scheduling, collaboration skills, and the ability to stay highly organized.
- Industry Experience: Experience working with clients in the Automotive, Finance, and Health Care industries.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120k-$135k, as well as a range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits to all permanent employees.
