Key Responsibilities- Actively engage in the design and delivery of technology initiatives that revolutionize client operations while crafting innovative digital products and services.
- Work alongside small, cross-functional teams to produce a diverse array of experience design outputs, including journey maps, service blueprints, roadmaps, prototypes, and design systems.
- Facilitate workshops, devise unique design strategies for products, and make strategic decisions at the portfolio level.
- Employ various research methodologies such as context analysis, moderated interviews, experiments, and user testing to effectively communicate your findings to clients and team members.
- Establish inspiring design hypotheses for delivery teams composed of both Thoughtworkers and our clients.
- Regularly evaluate and communicate project scope, risks, and updates.
- Manage expectations of clients and Thoughtworkers by clearly articulating experience design deliverables.
- Extend your knowledge to colleagues by providing on-the-job training and support regarding all facets of experience design methods and tools.
- Promote experience design expertise within the broader community outside of Thoughtworks, participating in conferences, webinars, meetups, and more.
- Proficient in all aspects of experience design, with expertise in at least three additional areas such as user research, service design, digital product design, interface design, visual design, or other related disciplines.
- Comfortable leading and advising on research activities within experience design projects, utilizing various methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, experiments, and user testing.
- Bring an inspiring and distinctive approach to product design, enjoying the facilitation of client brainstorming sessions and internal team discussions.
- Capable of working independently or collaborating with designers and developers to create a broad range of experience design outputs.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in fostering the growth of others in their design skills and capabilities.
- Effectively communicate and define project roles to design teammates, instilling confidence in others.
- Possess a passion for contributing to the expanding experience design community at Thoughtworks through peer reviews and enhancing the design team's understanding of group dynamics, ensuring consistency in design quality.
