Key Responsibilities
  • Engage actively in the design and execution of technology initiatives that revolutionize client operations while crafting new digital offerings.
  • Work alongside small, interdisciplinary teams to produce a variety of experience design outputs, including journey maps, service blueprints, strategic roadmaps, prototypes, and design frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops and devise unique design strategies for products, making informed decisions at the portfolio level.
  • Utilize various research techniques such as contextual analysis, moderated interviews, experiments, and user testing to effectively communicate your methodologies to clients and team members.
  • Establish inspiring design hypotheses for delivery teams that include both Thoughtworkers and our clients.
  • Regularly evaluate and communicate project scope, risks, and updates.
  • Manage expectations of clients and Thoughtworkers by clearly articulating experience design deliverables.
  • Share your expertise with colleagues by providing on-the-job training and support in all facets of experience design methodologies and tools.
  • Promote experience design knowledge to the wider community beyond Thoughtworks, participating in conferences, webinars, meetups, and more.
Required QualificationsTechnical Skills
  • Proficient in all aspects of experience design, with expertise in at least three additional areas such as user research, service design, digital product design, interface design, visual design, or other related disciplines.
  • Experienced in leading and advising research initiatives on experience design projects, employing various methods including contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, experiments, and user testing.
Professional Skills
  • Bring a distinctive and inspiring approach to product design, enjoying the facilitation of client brainstorming sessions and internal team discussions.
  • Comfortable working independently or collaborating with designers and developers to create a broad array of experience design outputs.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in mentoring others to enhance their design skills and capabilities.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and key stakeholders throughout projects, ensuring alignment and building trust.
  • Possess a talent for defining project roles for design team members, fostering confidence in others.
  • Contribute to the expanding experience design community at Thoughtworks through peer reviews and enhancing the team's understanding of group dynamics while ensuring consistent design quality.
