Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at DGA FOOD SERVICE INC. O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fast food restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate team members' performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to create a safe working environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue streams.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Manage events to create memorable experiences for customers and increase sales.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
