Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at DGA FOOD SERVICE INC. O/A SUBWAY. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fast food restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Implementation

Determine the types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.

Cash Handling and Financial Management

Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.

Team Leadership and Development

Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and lead by example to motivate and develop your team.

Regulatory Compliance

Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.

Health and Safety

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Marketing and Events

Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and promote the brand.

Event Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth execution.

Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
