At Travel Edge, we are seeking a seasoned Luxury Partner Development Director to join our team in Toronto, ON.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the acquisition and management of key partnerships in the luxury travel sector. This includes hotels, tour operators, insurance providers, cruise lines, and destination management companies (DMCs) across various markets worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, secure, and maintain best-in-class content, contracts, and commercial agreements with partners.
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the entire partner acquisition cycle from prospecting through contracting, onboarding, and ongoing evaluation of rates, services, and delivery.
  • Ensure all suppliers meet key brand standards and contract requirements such as amenities, payment and cancellation terms, liability insurance, and marketing commitments.
  • Effectively communicate each of our brands' unique value propositions to potential partners and represent Travel Edge at industry events.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in partner relations, account management, and/or procurement in a complex, multi-stakeholder company.
  • Proven ability to work through conflict, build trust, generate respect, and influence outcomes through outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills at all levels within the organization and with partners.
  • Superior time management skills - able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to digest and communicate quantitative reports across multiple data sets.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally, with polish and professionalism.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong project management skills and a hyper-organized approach in delivering and managing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically yet maintain contact with day-to-day performance.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.
