Executive Culinary Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Mister Artisan Ice Cream is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our ice cream production facility.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in food service management, with a strong focus on quality control, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing a team of staff, including training, coaching, and performance management. Additionally, you will be involved in planning and implementing new menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and taste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Quality Control:
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Staff Management:
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Hire food service staff
- Establish work schedules
- Customer Service:
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management
