Job Description

Job Title: Corrosion Field Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corrosion Field Support Specialist to join our team at ICE Dragon Corrosion. As a Corrosion Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing a Corrosion Field Support CR01 program for a long-standing client, working closely with our central team in Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a Corrosion Field Support CR01 program for a long-standing client
  • Work closely with our central team in Ottawa to provide support and guidance
  • Introduce the program and your role to field stakeholders and ramp up the uptake of program services
  • Communicate effectively and frequently with all types of people, from leadership to field personnel
  • Support a proactive maintenance culture through coaching and oversight
  • Provide onsite support to clients in the field for corrosion audits, husbandry maintenance items, and common defect issues
  • Support clients with practical corrosion, painting, and husbandry knowledge and coaching on basic maintenance tasks
  • Communicate data and feedback and requests with the Program Coordinator

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in corrosion engineering or related discipline
  • Related AMPP coating inspector qualifications strongly preferred (AMPP CIP Level 1 / 2, AMPP CP 2, other)
  • Field experience in reliability, condition monitoring, NDT, inspections, coating inspection
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple, concurrent activities and stakeholder requirements
  • Fluent English required; French is an asset
  • Ability to rapidly gain knowledge as training is provided and program requirements evolve
