Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Server Support Specialist to join our team at Drift. As a Server Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional support to our servers by ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Prepare Tables: Inspect all tables for proper mise en place, cleanliness, and completeness to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Food Running and Quality Control: Assist with food running, monitor food quality, and ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of presentation and taste.
  • Section Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your section, including restocking condiments, cleaning equipment, and disposing of trash and recycling.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and other team members to ensure seamless service and maximize seating capacity.
  • Guest Interaction: Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: A degree or diploma in hospitality or a related field is considered an asset, and provincial liquor certification is required.
  • Skills and Abilities: High attention to detail, ability to remain calm under pressure, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
