Personal Support Worker for Clients with Physical Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to provide assistance to clients with physical disabilities in their homes. As a valued member of our team at Robert Dalton McArthur, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a non-judgmental attitude, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for providing personal care, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
In addition to these essential duties, you will also be required to perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation tasks. If you are a caring and patient individual who is committed to delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.
About the Role- Assist clients with physical disabilities in their daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility
- Administer medications and ensure timely medical appointments
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, snacks, and beverages
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
- Assist clients with transportation to appointments and outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Non-smoking environment
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan, you will also enjoy a supportive and inclusive work environment.
