Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at the Developmental Disabilities Association. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Job DescriptionAs a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct support to clients in their daily lives. This may include assisting with life skills, implementing behaviour plans, and providing emotional support. You will work collaboratively with our team to create personalized plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
Requirements- A post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, or education) is an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
