Job Summary

The Community Service Worker will provide support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting. This includes implementing life skills workshops, assessing client's relevant skill strengths and development needs, and assisting clients/guests with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Life Skills Workshops: Implement life skills workshops to support individuals with developmental disabilities in developing daily living skills.
  • Client Assessment: Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs to identify areas of support.
  • Client Support: Assist clients/guests with special needs with daily tasks and activities.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate.
  • Background Checks: Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract).
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Client focus, Flexibility, Initiative, Team player.
