Job Description:


  • Work Term: Full-time Permanent
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (includes regular evening shifts)
  • Education: College diploma or university degree in a related field
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide individualized support and care to clients in their daily activities
  • Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support clients with meal planning and preparation
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
  • Participate in on-call rotation for evenings and weekends
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and community resources


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
