Receptionist - Patient Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Iroquois Falls Family Health Team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations
- Manage patient flow and direct visitors to the appropriate healthcare professional
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide information on services and policies
- Operate the switchboard and relay messages to healthcare professionals
- Administrative Support
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail
- Assist with scheduling appointments and confirming patient information
- Provide basic information to clients and the public
- Computer and Technology
- Operate electronic medical records and other software applications
- Manage email and other digital communication
- Security and Safety
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other staff members
- Education
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field
- Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting an asset
- Skills
