About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Iroquois Falls Family Health Team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and visitors, direct them to the appropriate staff member or service area, and provide basic information as needed.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to healthcare staff, including filing, sorting, and distributing mail, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, relay messages, and provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Technology: Utilize electronic medical records, MS Office, and other software applications to perform job duties.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and able to work effectively in a team setting.
