Job Summary

At Yager Construction, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information within the team, recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and scheduling and confirming appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Oversee the development of communication strategies
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks

Requirements

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
