About Us: Evergreen Home for Special Care is a leading long term care facility with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary: As a Physiotherapy Specialist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, care planning, consultation, intervention, and follow-up services to our residents. You will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to improve, restore, and/or maintain residents' functional abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical abilities and develop personalized care plans
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve residents' mobility, strength, and function
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
  • Member in good standing with the relevant professional organization
  • Demonstrated clinical experience providing PT assessments and interventions with children and seniors
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Maintain current certifications in CPR
