About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide physiotherapy services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest physiotherapy techniques and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
  • Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (Provincial licensing body)
  • Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook)
  • Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
