**About the Opportunity**:
Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) is seeking a radiologist to join the team of eight. Responsibilities include general radiography, CT, ultrasound, MRI, image guided procedures and mammography. Participation in the radiologist call group covering VRH would be expected.

VRH opened its doors to patients in 1992. The hospital serves the people of Kings and Annapolis Counties, and provides specialty services as a referral centre for the Annapolis Valley and other areas of Western Nova Scotia. Located in Kentville, VRH is a 137 inpatient bed facility that provides inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care to approximately 80,000 residents.

**Responsibilities**:
Duties would include x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography and some nuclear medicine. Light (non-vascular) interventional would be desirable.

**Expected Hours**:

- Full time
- On-call requirement

**Qualifications**:

- all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- all specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
- membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
