Job Summary

The Education Support Personnel position at Natrona County School is a vital role that requires a dedicated and compassionate individual to assist in the monitoring and instruction of students under the supervision of certified staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adapt learning processes to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in instructional programs.
  • Assist certified staff in implementing and supervising various instructional activities, including individualized and group instruction, to reinforce learning objectives and promote student success.
  • Support students with daily living skills and classroom activities to create a positive and functional learning environment.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions to stay informed about job functions and receive updates on student progress.
  • Implement learning processes to ensure student recovery and meet individualized learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and instructional materials, including incident reports, discipline records, and adapting instructional materials.
  • Monitor students in various settings to model positive behavior and provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and support to students to help them meet individualized plan objectives and school-wide discipline plans.
  • Respond to emergency situations and potential conflicts with students, de-escalating behaviors and directing situations towards a positive outcome.
