Job Summary

The Natrona County School is seeking a highly qualified Education Support Personnel to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting certified staff in the monitoring and instruction of students, as well as providing support for special health care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adapt Learning Processes: Assist certified staff in adapting learning processes to meet the needs of students with different learning levels and functional abilities.
  • Implement Instructional Activities: Assist certified staff in implementing and supervising instructional activities, including individual and small group instruction, to reinforce learning objectives and ensure student learning.
  • Support Student Needs: Assist students with classroom and daily living skills, and provide positive reinforcement to support students in meeting individual plan objectives and school-wide discipline plans.
  • Monitor Student Activities: Monitor students within various activities, such as restrooms, playgrounds, and classrooms, to model appropriate behavior and provide a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond to emergency situations and potential conflicts with students, and de-escalate behaviors to direct the situation towards a positive outcome.
